I had a great trip back to St. Louis. We battled the heat and humidity but me and the kids had a blast. We are now booking for the remainder of 2009. There are only a few remaining dates for St. Louis. The Denver schedule is open as well. We have remaining dates in July-Oct fr Denver clients.

I had the second session at the new studio the other day and I must say, I am LOVING the light here. Meet 9 day old Harper...
So sorry for the MIA once again. My family and I moved out of our home in Wildwood, MO on May 11 and did not get to move into our new home in Castle Rock, CO until June 3. It was a looong transition with uus living in hotels, and both studio lofts. My main client computer was packed for about 10 days until I was able to set it up on the kitchen bar top. Niiiice. Anyway, I am back in (blog) action and want to share some of my favorites from the last month. Yes, I was still shooting during all of this and I appreciate all of my clients who have been awesome and patient and understanding!!
I want to start with my innaugural Denver studio session. The studio has beautiful natural light - a photographer's dream. Little Levi came to visit me with his mom and dad who are so smitten with him. They wanted him for a very long time and it is obvious they are in love with their new family. This is one of my favorite images of the year so far.

Gosh, I have neglected the blog lately. We are currently up to our eyeballs in "moving across the country" things. We are set to move out of our house in St. Louis on May 11. We have already announced June dates for St. Louis sessions to returning clients. We will open up any remaining slots this week to anyone. We plan on coming back about twice a month through 2009 for St. Louis sessions. In the meantime, we are gearing up for our Summer Denver sessions. I can't wait to share what we can do there!! One of the things I am looking forward to most about moving "out West" is that there will be plenty of horses and kids. What a great combination! There is something so beautiful in the way that a child lights up around their horse. Equally beautiful is the way that an enormous animal shows reverence and gentleness around children.
