Knucklehead

Hee hee.  He's not really a knucklehead but his adorable little jumpsuit says he is (: 

You may recognize this little cutie from my website.  His mommy is a local wedding photographer and she "gets it."  She gets that her little guy is changing so fast and she wants me to capture all of it.  We had a "mommy and me" session last Fall when he was 3 months.

 

She couldn't wait until his first birthday for another session so here is at 9 months.  I was thrilled!   7-9 months is a GREAT age to photograph.  They have so much personality and they haven't yet figured out how to run away.

   His Mommy also reads my information packet thouroughly, goes on a very fun shopping spree based on my suggestions and comes with the coolest wardrobe ever.  Plus, she lets me do my thing and is open for any and all ideas.  We decided to go downtown for this session and I couldn't be happier with the results.

My Loves

I am back from a short vacation and am refreshed and ready for Spring.  I thought I would share my own little loves for a change.  My youngest, Nate is 21 months of pure "hambone".  He will do anything for a laugh (which usually involves imitating his brother...which usually involves bodily noises...you see where I'm going with this?)  Ah, the joys of being a mommy to boys!  Anyway, Nate also loves anything with wheels.  He is impossible to photograph-unless I bribe him with cars.  I can get him to look out the window for cars, point up in the sky and ask about airplanes, etc.  This particular day, I let him sit in my cool new chair while he waited and watched for his brother's bus (aka "school car") to bring him home. We also played a little peekaboo.

Then there is my goofball Brett.  He is almost 6 and way smarter than necessary (:  He can tell you all about things like locomotive steam engines and the dietary habits of most dinosaurs (along with the weekly schedule of Spongebob on any given channel..you know important stuff like that).  He adores his daddy and wants to be just like him.  Here he is late last summer at the firehouse.

Now do you see why I became a Children's Photographer?  Hee hee, I know I'm biased but I think I have beautiful boys (:  Here is one more of the two of them last Fall (I may have shared this one before, I can't remember.  I need to get more of these printed.  Sadly, I am REALLY bad about printing my own photographs!

These cuties are repeat clients of mine.  How lucky am I?  Here they are a year ago at one year.

A Love Story
