I went Octopus wrestling tonight (:  I think that there were more than just four arms and four legs.  But we managed to get some sweet shots.  I have been waiting for them to come home from the NICU for weeks and they came home JUST in time for me to leave on vacation....such good babies (:

Here they are at 20 days old...

Lots of fun...

I've had lots of great sessions with some really fun families lately.  I will be out of town from 6/14-6/27.  I will have limited access to internet so if you have a really pressing matter, I will try to respond but routine emails and booking request, etc will be answered (in order) upon my return.  Here's some sneak peeks as promised...

  The M. family was such a blast.  Little Charlie was such a ham.  He's only 4 but can rock just like his daddy...

But don't mess with him or he'll "pow" you with his muscles (:

Then, there was big sis Caroline who will be in show biz some day, I think.  She even has her first headshot... (doesn't it look like something from Playbill)

Here is her and her mommy playing around.  This reminded me so much of a photobooth series.  I LOVE it....

Next is the R. family who has the cutest boys on the planet...did I just say that out loud? Hee hee.

And the G. family...I loved these two with Daddy (especially how he is gently cradling the baby's head....awwwww)

Next, is Emma and Jay.  Oh my were they good for me.  When I hear "I have a 2 yr old and a 3 yr old" sometimes I can't help but panic a little..HA HA.  But they were great.

Then, the M family.  You may remember them from last year.  First is sweet miss Katie who is one of my "display girls" at the Hairy Elephant.

Last, but not least, is Miss Kamryn.  What can I say about her except that I LOVE her attitude.  What animation! I shared her briefly last week but wanted to share more.  Yes, this was supposed to be a session for mommy but she sorta stole the show.

June and July Booked-August now open

  June and July are completely booked as of tonight.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart.  I have opened the first half of August for booking.  From 8/19-10/14  is my "Holiday Season".  I will not be opening that calendar for a little bit yet but I encourage you to watch the blog and book early.  Weekend dates WILL sell out fast and I PROMISED my family not to overbook myself this year.  All Holiday orders including cards need to be placed by 11/1.  As in previous years, in order to be fair to those families wanting a full session experience, sessions will not be done "just for cards".  There is an $800 min print requirement before cards will be designed.  Thanks for understanding.

I have to run but I will try to post more kids before I leave town next week.  Real quick for a Friday smile.....isn't she adorable!

Coming Up for Air

   Sorry for the lack of posts lately. I have been crazy busy making up rainout sessions from April and early May.  Thanks to all of my wonderful clients who have been so patient waiting for sneak peeks and galleries (and final prints).  I really do LOVE my clients.  So...here's what I've been up to lately.  First off I HAVE to show this little guy.  He drove almost 2 hours to come see....me (:  I'm sure I'll have lots more  of him but I haven't had a chance to look at all of his stuff yet.  Doesn't he have the most amazing eyes?  I had to work really hard to get him to not squint but it paid off.

Next, I have to show you why I insist on evening (sunset sessions) when at all possible.  I know it gets harder for families with small kids during the summer when the sun doesn't set until 9 or later.  But this is why I try to do it whenever I can....

And next,  I have to share Hayden's stinky brothers (:  Just kidding guys.  But remember my last post.....here is the rest of "the fam" that I promised to share....First Mr. Brendan... the B Man.  It's hard to be cool when you have 2 older brothers....

 

But once we got him by himself, he managed to be "cool as a cucumber."

Then, big bro Liam who had no problems at all being cool.

And finally, a couple of the whole family that I loved.  I love the first one becasue it's so darn funny.  The name's Bond...James Bond (note the sexy Bond girl) Hee hee

And this one I love because they look so cozy and natural...especially little B who couldn't be any cuter laying on Mom like that.

And finally, rounding up my showcase is Miss Olivia.  This was for her Talent Plus portfolio. She is such a natural beauty and so easy and fun to work with.  She is going to go places....just watch!
