I Promise....

My derrier has been plastered to my computer chair since 9 am (it's 10:45pm now).  I am really far behind with some things so I thought I'd let you all know what is up.  I am working as hard as I possibly can to get you all what you need.  So...

Linda, Marci, Desiree, Maryann, Leigh and Carolyn,...I promise to have your galleries up soon.  I am working on them in that order.  I am running at about a 3 week turn around time right now.

Jen, Lesley, Nicole, Megan, Lisa, Kim, Katy, Christine, Julie, Peggy, Melissa and Melissa...I promise to have your prints and/or other items delivered soon.  I have lots of things that are sitting in my office waiting to be packaged all pretty and delivered and I am also still waiting on some things from the lab.

Thanks to all of my wonderful clients for being so kind and patient as my business grows.  And thanks to my wonderful client coordinator Kim for keeping me organized!  Here are some of my faves that I processed today

I Made It!

So I made it to North Carolina in one piece.  Planes don't actually freefall from the sky very often I guess (;  It's soooo beautiful and calming being above the clouds looking down at this white pillowy world.  I had forgotten that part.  Anyway, I wanted to share one last sneak peek for a little guy who calmed my nerves at the airport without realizing it.  I needed to download the images from his session so I had room to take more this weekend.  I started peeking at them and they made me smile...and ALMOST forget I was about to board a deathship..er...airplane.  Anyway, here you go buddy.

Leaving On a Jet Plane

I'm getting gready to go to a workshop for the weekend to sharpen my skills and to hang out with some really amazing friends who happen to be amaaaazing photographers as well. My good buddy Cheryl Muhr is hosting and I couldn't be more excited to spend the weekend with her. But......I am flying. In case you aren't aware, I am NOT a good flyer. My husband who flew to Australia without incident was completely freaked out the last time he flew with me because I was so freaked out! So anyway, I leave Fri afternoon. Any comments to this post regarding how safe air travel is or any tips for nervous flyers would be greatly appreciated (by me and the poor person who ends up sitting next to me). As promised, here are some sneak peeks and recents faves before I go. 

Client Coordinator Kim

   Wow, 2007 has been a whirlwird so far!  I am usually just gearing up for the busy Fall Season but this year I have been busier from March until now than I ever was last Fall.  The result is that I have been having a harder and harder time keeping up with the administrative part of running a business.  In steps Kim....

Kim is my new Client Coordinator.  She will be taking care of everything that happens prior to your session.  If you are thinking about booking a session, you will now email her at eyesmiles_booking@yahoo.com  She will take care of helping you choose the date and time, collecting the session fee, sending the welocme info and confirming everything a few days before your session.  I will still be available for the creative type questions you may have before your session.  Anyway, here she is with her crazy family, so you can put a face with a name.

Okay, so now that I am shooting at the loft regularly, I find myself really addicted to the amazing textures that are found downtown.  I LOVE shooting here.

Summer Vacation

I just wanted to share a few images of my very special boys.  Hopefully they are more interesting than your Uncle Bob's slides from the Grand Canyon (:

First, let me preface this by saying that I wasn't expecting much.  My boys don't usually behave all too well when it comes to picture time (none of the three-HA HA).  This is what usually happens and what I expected....

So I was pleasantly surprised when I got these....

I know I need to catch up on posts.  I've been a bad bad blogger lately.  I've had a lot of 06 babies return to me lately.  I love watching them grow....cuter and cuter!!

Charlie was 6 weeks when I first met him.  Usually an awkward age to photograph but his session couldn't have been any sweeter.

And then I photographed him again in the Fall

Then there is Miss Lucy.  She was a newborn when I first met her back in Feb of 06...

And look at her now...such a sweet happy toddler. (Her big sis is equally adorable but this post is about the babies)

And while I'm on the subject of toddlers....(how's that for a transition?)  Here's Miss Ava Grace.  This was her first session with me but she's so unbelievably beautiful that I hope it's the first of many many more to come (:
