Such an Honor

  Since launching my new Commercial Website I was approached by the website design company.  This company markets to professional photographers from all over and they were planning to launch  a new website design for photographers.  They chose my images to use for the sample template to market to all kinds of other professionals.  I must say that it made me a very happy person.  It was very fun to see which images they chose (I had nothing to do with which ones were used) and how they fit them into the design.  Seeing it for the first time was sort of like when you accidentally catch yourself in a reflection somewhere and for a split second you don't recognize yourself (:  Here is the link to view the sample. Sample Website  Oh and for the record "Lydia Sinclair" is a fictional photographer.  "She" is actually a character from The Fisher King.

Bumper Crop

Yet another "Fall Harvest" newborn.  My cup runneth over...LOL

This little peanut was such a good little model.  "Stay.....yes...right there....now, stroke mommy's face lovingly and look content as can be....good girl."

Trust Me

...That's what I told Paul on Fri when he emailed me all worried about the location I had chosen for his portfolio shoot.  "Have you MET me?"  he said.  I assured and reassured that his look would be perfect for the barnyard/junkyard theme.  You be the judge...does it "work" for him or what?!

The Caboose

This family comes in as the caboose....my last  session of the year other than newborns.  What a wonderful family to end the year with.  You may remember them from this post:  Eyesmiling

  What a truely "sweet" soul Matthew has.  He was really nervous and out of sorts at first but all of a sudden, his little spirit broke free and came shining through.  "Miss Lawa-I'm not even nervous anymore!!"  he said smiling as I grabbed this shot.

There is something magical about this one..I can't quite put my finger on it....except that he and his Daddy, well, they GET each other. (:

And look how his adorable teeny tiny baby brother is not so teeny tiny anymore.  He sure knows how to turn it on for the camera.

Barnyard Baby revisited

I know most of you "regulars" will remember sweet little barnyard baby from last May...

I got to have another Playdate with him...he has grown bigger (and cuter) over the past 6 months!

We shot these at his neighbor's barn and property.  It's a photographers dream and they have graciously told me to shoot there anytime.  I have a shoot there with a model on Sat and I can't wait to share the images we get from this amazing location.
