Choco Choco Chocolate

That's what we had to do do get her to laugh and that's what her big brown eyes remind me of (:  Meet Sydney and her family.  We went outdoors too but I was really loving the indoor series. Edited to add:  I couldn't resist throwing in one outdoor shot!

Wow

Prior to sessions, I send out a questionairre so that I can better capture what the parents are looking for.  One of the questions is "What do you hope your children see when they look at these images?"  These kids showed up to the loft with all of their fun bright "loft session" clothes but I had them change out of those and put on the simple white camis for this series because of something mom wrote.  I knew I wanted a simple portrait that focused on just them.  Here is what she wrote

"We’d like them to see how much joy there is in life and be reminded of what it means, where it is found, and how what you have has nothing to do with it. It should show in their faces that they loved one another and were loved by us."

I couldn't wait to process this series of images because I just knew there would be something like this...
