Entwined Update

The Opening Reception was a smashing success!!  Thank you to all who came out to support me and Belas-Artes on the 18th.  So sorry for the delay in an update.  We have had so much positive feedback.  It's truly overwhelming.  We have had interest from universities, corporations, schools and community groups.  Also, there will be a World Harmony Torch Run ceremony at the exhibit on Mother's Day.  Come on down to the gallery around 10am (we'll be finished in time to take your Mom to brunch).  I want to share some snapshots from the opening but first I want to share something I received from a woman of mixed race who was taken in by a loving white foster family who taught her about love and acceptance.

Laura's images show the greatest force each human has the capacity to experience: love.  I see the potential for love...and "perfect love drives out fear."  If we did not fear our differences, I imaginethat we could begin to understand how beautiful it would be to be entwined.   Mindy-age 22 Hartford, CT

Thank You

Thank you to all of my wonderful clients (and potential clients) who were so understanding this week.  We had an eventful week starting with a trip to Children's ER on Sunday night.  This was followed by my own "oh my Gosh I'd be better off dead" illness on Wednesday.  I have not felt that half-dead in a long long long time.  Anyway, all is well with the world tonight and I am back full swing with some sessions tomorrow.  I appreciate everyone's patience.  Here is a little sneak peek for a special little cutie's mom.  He is baby #5 for her and she wanted him to have everything the older kids had (including his very own Eyesmiles Session).  What was so fun about this session is Mom let me shop for him and his nanny brought him to the session soooo....these truly are a surprise for mom.  Enjoy!
