You all remember my little sweet "Barnyard Baby"? He turned one recently so we were out at the farm again for a session. We had this great plan to use the ottoman again for his one year session (we planned it the day of his newborn session). But....my precious little ottoman was kidnapped off of the street outside the loft during a session back in May. So, we hads to make do with an antique chair from his house. It really doesn't matter though does it? It's the adorable kid that everyone's looking at not the furniture...right??
These little sweeties' Mom told me, "Every time I hear you say 'How cute!' all I hear is my bank acount depleting... cha-ching, cha-ching. Sorry Julie...these are real "depleters!" Enjoy (:
PS. Is there anything cuter than a "baby-in-o-basket"?
Oh, PSS...these dresses are also from Petunia (;

I recently shot the Fall line of clothing from designer Ellen Profitt of Petunia in Clayton and Baby Petunia in St. Charles. The designs are so cute. I am especially in love with the little brown dresses. Some of these items are available as pre-order. Email her at babypetunia2@sbcglobal.net for more info..Be sure to tell her you saw them here (;
Thanks to the 6 adorable girls who worked so hard for us. If the amount of pizza consumes per capita is any indication-we worked them hard! I have never seen so much pizza go into such tiny little people (:

HA! I had to re-use this title because it is so fitting. Ironically, this family is friends with the original "Princess and Pea-nut" http://eyesmiles.typepad.com/my_weblog/2006/12/the_princess_an.html
This little girlie was certainly princess material. (: I just love her and her vocabulary! Her new baby sister is such a little peanut. She was so squishy and bendy for me. N and J, you get a few extra sneak peeks to make up for your crummy day. Enjoy!
AKA "The Fieldtrip". My super secret spot from last year is actually not so super secret anymore. It has become more and more popular for photographers so I went and found a new spot. Thanks to my new little buddy Henry for helping me test it out! I know it's hard for families with small kids to do sunset sessions but it is SO worth it. There is just nothing like the light that comes just before sunset.
